Last Friday Em and I celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary. We celebrated with a big party in the same hall we can our reception 10 years ago. It was very reminiscent going back to where it all began. It feels like so much has changed in 10 years and yet nothing has changed at all. There was lots of De-Ja-Vu moments but then we’d see the 25 children running around and come back to the present – 2017. 10 years ago there was only 5 children at the wedding and they were all cousins.

It was truly the best party – family, friends, pizza, wine and live music.

After the party I surprised Em with a getaway to the Crystal Creek Rainforest Retreat – the same place we celebrated our honeymoon. It was tranquil, romantic and the scenery was absolutely incredible. Our chalet was surrounded by rainforest. It was perfect.

We took ourselves on rainforest walks and even trekked to the summit of Mt Warning – see our facebook page for pics –

The last 10 years have seen us through up’s and down’s. We have travelled the world, worked our butts off with study and two jobs each, started a new business, grown our family, re-located and experienced grief with Em loosing her dad and see family struck with ill-health. It has been a whirlwind that has flown by.

What does the next 10 years hold? What I can tell you is there will be –  more travelling, more culturally rich experiences, more family time and definitely more growth with ZEP and helping people with home loans and their finances. You”ll have to keep reading the blog to find out more…..
